They give you lots of straps expecting you to strap the cover down to the trailer but drift boats move around some on the trailer so I take the straps from one side under the boat to the other side and then run my tie down over everything. You will have 3 pairs of straps, connect 2 together to reach from one side of the boat to the other. I only use a couple of these since that is all that is needed. It also helps to run a line from the bow to the transom under the cover to form a tent which keeps water from puddling on top of the cover. You can use your anchor rope just tie a loop in the end to throw over the bow and tie off at the anchor arm or make a strap with 1” strap material, 26’ long with double D rings for a buckle. I have a bow eye attached to my transom to tie off to. Also the bow eye slit in the cover is probably higher than the one on your boat, just open the seam where needed it won’t come undone all the way. Hope this helps. Just call if you need more info.
Keeping your boat outside with a cover is not recommended due to the fact that no matter how good the cover there will always be condensation. Some sort of tent structure with good air flow would work.
