Dierks Anchor System Installations

The anchor systems, pulleys and parts are made for 1/2” rope. See picture 7 for a sample.

Pictures 1, 2 and 3 show a Dierks Anchor Release System AR-1-TP-2S installed on a wood boat with the hand piece RB864 and 2 PB-4 pulleys (pic 1) and a center mount Anchor arm AR1TP2 (pic 3).

Pictures 4 and 5 shows an installation of the Side Anchor Release SA-5-TP-2, hand piece RB864 and 1 PB-4 pulley (2 pulleys on fiberglass boat) on aluminum and fiberglass boats. The Side Anchor Release allows the use of a motor.

Picture 6 shows the Bow Anchor Release BR-32.

The pulleys have a 1/4" mounting hole for a 20 thread count bolt. The end may have to be cut off to keep the bolt from interfering with the rope. Dress bolt end with file and use LockTite when mounting pulley.

Another option for an anchor system is to use either of the anchor arms with jam cleats or Sure Lock Cleats. Model numbers are AR-12, AR1JC6, SA-52 and SA5JC6. These would require turning around and probably standing up to hoist the anchor.
